An Efficient Library for Reliability Block Diagram Evaluation

Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) are widely used in reliability engineering to model how the system depends on of components or subsystems. In this paper, we present librbd, a C library providing generic, efficient and open-source solution for time-dependent evaluation RBDs. The has been developed as part project complex systems through layered approach, combining different modeling formalisms techniques at levels. achieves accuracy efficiency comparable to, mostly better than, those other well-established tools, it is well designed so that can be easily by libraries tools.
